Cheryl Rose

Regional Manager, Antelope Valley

Cheryl Rose joined the LAEDC team in June 2007 as Regional Manager for the Antelope Valley (north Los Angeles County). Prior to joining the LAEDC team, Ms. Rose worked for many years in the aerospace field as a technical writer and over 17 years at the City of Lancaster in both public works and economic development/redevelopment giving her a well-rounded background in both the private and public sectors.

Her experience includes business attraction, retention and expansion, state tax incentives, federal grant programs, business assistance, contract management, legislative analysis, fiscal management, staff development, and marketing. She has been heavily involved with the local business community as well as the Antelope Valley’s regional Work Source California One-Stop Career Center where she focused on workforce development. In addition, Ms. Rose is an adjunct instructor at Antelope Valley College teaching business classes.

Ms. Rose holds a Masters Degree in Public Administration and a Bachelors of Science Degree in Organizational Systems Management from Cal State University, Northridge.
