Elan Shore

Regional Manager, Westside

Elan Shore joined the LAEDC in July 2007 as Regional Manager for the Westside Cities. Prior to joining the LAEDC, Mr. Shore served as a Senior Business Consultant for the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Province of Ontario, Canada. In this role he provided counseling and seminars focused on assisting international entrepreneurs adapt to North American business practices and worked with multinational corporations to help them address their needs for global talent. Mr. Shore has traveled throughout the United States and Europe promoting the province of Ontario to investors and highly skilled individuals looking for new opportunities.

Prior to joining the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, Mr. Shore was an immigration officer at the Canadian Consulate General in downtown Los Angeles, where he developed a special interest in the business climate of Southern California. He has also held positions related to international trade, Canada-Mexico relations and spent time in the former Yugoslavia as a human rights monitor.

Mr. Shore holds a Masters Degree in International Relations from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from York University.
