Henry Leyva
Regional Manager, Santa Clarita Valley
Henry Leyva joined the LAEDC in 2003 to coordinate and add attraction programs to existing retention and expansion efforts in the Santa Clarita Valley. He has been assigned to work with the Santa Clarita Valley Economic Alliance in promoting business retention, expansion and attraction.
Prior to working for the LAEDC, Mr. Leyva was appointed served as an Economic Development Representative for the City of Los Angeles under Mayors Richard J. Riordon and James K. Hahn. Prior to working for the Mayors Office of Economic Development, Mr. Leyva was a Business Development Representative for the East Los Angeles Minority Business Development Center.
Mr. Leyva is a southern California Native, having grown up in East Los Angeles. He graduated from UCLA with a bachelors Degree in History and is also a master degree candidate in Urban Planning at UCLA.
