Mechanical Engineering Technicians support engineers with technical issues in the research, design, development and production of alternative fuel vehicles and other clean technologies. They are also responsible for collecting, analyzing and recording data. They utilize computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) equipment and assist engineers and scientists in making prototypes.
