Top Honors in Inc. 5000 go to LA Companies

LA County companies nabbed the #1 and #2 spots (as well as hundreds more) in the 2014 Inc. 5000, which showcases the fastest growing private companies in the U.S.  See below for a quick look at the companies in LA County who made the top 100:

#1:Fuhu (El Segundo) – “The creator of an Android tablet for kids and an Adobe Air application that allows children to access the Internet in a parent-controlled environment.”
#2:Quest Nutrition (El Segundo) – “Develops, markets and distributes health-conscious snacks featuring flavors on par with more indulgent options.”
#17:American Solar Direct (Los Angeles) – “A solar provider offering design, permitting, installation, and project management services to California homeowners.”
#28:PackIt (Westlake Village) – “Manufactures bags with freezable gel in the linings that keep food and drinks cold for up to 10 hours.”
#59:EcoSense Lighting (Los Angeles) – “Manufactures advanced LED lighting systems for architectural and commercial applications.”
#79:Clean Energy Experts (Manhattan Beach) – “Operates a customer acquisition platform that generates leads and provides market analysis for the solar energy industry.”
#93:FastPay (Beverly Hills) – “Dynamically provides lines of credit to growing online businesses by using its IGNITE technology platform to assess their creditworthiness. Since its inception, FastPay has originated over $250 million in loans across more than 10,000 transactions.”
