Mayor Fuentes will be speaking on her initiatives within the City of El Segundo and the region as well as what steps El Segundo took to become winners in the Most Business Friendly City of 2015. This event includes a tour of The Northrop Grumman El Segundo Manufacturing Center.
 
The Northrop Grumman El Segundo Manufacturing Center Building 902 continues as one of the aerospace industry’s greatest success stories.  Built in 1942 of California Redwood to conserve strategic materials during World War II, Building 902 has seen the production of nearly 12,000 US Navy and Air Force aircraft of fourteen different types, including over 2,200* F/A-18 and EA-18G Hornets, Super Hornets, and Growlers in continuous production here since 1978.
